What kind of church is Anchor Way?
Anchor Way Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church. But this is probably
not what you think a typical Southern Baptist Church is like! We have a band,
upbeat music and vocals and often use multi-media as part of the service.
Anchor Way is about relationships, not religion.
We look at the Bible as God's word to us so we know how to live a full life. We
believe that Jesus offers an amazing life with Him to anyone who wants it.
We believe that we are unable to have Joy, Hope, Peace, Contentment, Purpose or
Eternal Life without Jesus.

The church is located 5 miles west of Steamboat Springs on Hwy 40 in Steamboat
II across from Heritage Park. If you are traveling West on Hwy 40, take a right
into Steamboat II, then take an immediate left. We are the first driveway on
the left at the top of the hill.

Be the face of Anchor Way on Sunday's by greeting guests and regular attenders at the door, seating guests, and taking up the offering. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before the service. |

Can I bring my kids?
At Anchor Way we love kids! We have Sunday School classes available for pre-school
through elementary school and Bible study for Jr and Sr highs at 9:15 AM Sunday
mornings. We have a nursery available during our 10:15 AM worship service. Also
during our 10:15 AM service we have Children's Church, a service specifically
designed for kids ages 4-10.
Also, on Wednesday night at 6:00 pm we have an exciting kids club called
AWANA for ages 3-12 during the school year.
