AWANA

Anchor Way Baptist Church is excited to be in partnership with AWANA CLUBS.

AWANA is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekday clubs and programs for three-year olds through 6th graders. Awana emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Bible verses that show how to know God and walk with Him. Weekly clubs promote an atmosphere filled with fun and excitement.

CLUB NIGHT: Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:30 pm During the school year. CLUB LOCATION: Christian Heritage School located in Heritage Park. CLUB AGES: Three-year-old - 6th grade DUES: $20.00 per child per year SIGN UP: Children may start AWANA at any time during the school year. No pre-registration is required. Awana club night has three segments that provide start-to-finish adventure. Each segment has its own purpose, but all of them are FUN!

Game Time includes individual and team competition that takes place through circle games. Every child gets involved every night and has a chance to unleash his or her energy.

Handbook Time involves one-on-one with every child and a trained leader to complete assignments in the curriculum materials. The club materials are filled with verses from the Bible and guidelines to help kids memorize and understand them. A series of awards and trophies acknowledge achievements at every level as kids progress.

Council Time brings everyone together for singing, awarded distribution and most importantly, a practical Bible message.
